FN M2HB Series

Tracing its origins back to the closing days of WWI, the legendary M2 50-caliber heavy machine gun was one of John M. Browning’s greatest military designs. At the request of U.S. General John “Black Jack” Pershing, John M. Browning scaled-up his M1919 30-caliber platform to become the original rapid fire anti-tank weapon. From its initial development in late 1918, the Browning M2 has played a pivotal role in ground, air, and sea engagements during WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. It remains in use today by all branches of the U.S. Military and by many of her allies. The M2’s recoil operated design offers simplicity, relentless reliability, outstanding accuracy, and tremendous durability. FN’s Quick Change Barrel (QCB) system simplifies barrel changes under combat conditions.
